The programs

Four programs, one weekly word count

Every program has pages due every week. Everything else is in service of that.

How it works

Pages due, every week

Writers don't need more craft advice. They need a deadline and a reader who tells the truth.

Free intro call

Twenty minutes on the book, where it stalled, and how much time you have.

A weekly target

A word count you can hit in your real life, not your ideal one.

You send pages

Every week, on a fixed day, finished or not.

Feedback that's usable

Within 48 hours: what's working, the one thing to fix, and what to write next.

How we work

A coach, not a publisher

Be careful with anyone in this industry who takes your money: reading fees, contests with entry costs, publishing packages that charge authors. Legitimate agents get paid when you do.

Lumivoo sells coaching only. We don't publish, don't represent, don't submit on your behalf and take nothing from any deal you make. You keep every right to your work, and we say plainly when a manuscript isn't ready.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

Do you help me get published?

We help you make the book better and prepare materials. We are not an agent or publisher, we submit nothing for you, and nobody can promise publication.

Do you read the whole manuscript?

In the Manuscript intensive, yes, with a written report. In other plans we read the pages you send each week — usually up to 3,000 words.

What genres do you work with?

Most fiction and memoir. If your project is far outside what we can usefully judge, we'll say so on the intro call rather than take your money.

Will you write or rewrite it for me?

No. We don't ghostwrite. We'll show you what isn't working and how it might be fixed; the words stay yours.

I've never finished anything. Is that hopeless?

It's the most common situation here, and the Finish a first draft program exists exactly for it.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contract, no minimum term. Access stays open until the end of the month you already paid for.

Where did the book stall?

Twenty minutes on the project and what would get it moving again. Free, and honest.
